Our story
A little fancy. A lot of home.
A dinner party, every night.
The Living Room was founded in 2008 with a simple idea: welcome every guest and every team member home. In 2015, Zach and Christina Feinstein took over and reimagined it as a place where comfort meets culinary excellence, with chef-driven food made from scratch, serious cocktails and a room that feels like the best dinner party in town.
Today there are two Living Rooms, in downtown Dunedin and in Wesley Chapel. Both are family-owned and operated, and both are built around the same promise: excellent food, superior service and an upscale but comfortable room where you can linger.
Giving back is part of who we are. We support local charitable organizations throughout the year, and our Community nights thank the people who take care of our towns.
About our 15% service charge
Hospitality is one of the few professions where people's pay depends on a tip. We changed that. Our service team earns a sales commission on every dollar sold, regardless of discounts, so every guest gets the same professional service and our people earn a stable, living wage.
A 15% service charge is added to each check, and it goes directly to your server.
It's worked. This model has massively cut our turnover, given us the opportunity to offer real benefits, and our team earns more this way.
